As promised in my Easter brunch post , today I'll be sharing the how-to for that gorgeous, but oh-so-simple, DIY floral table runner! This year I wanted something very colorful and very floral for my Easter brunch table, but that was also easy to make (possibly made in advance) and that packed the wow factor! I think this floral table runner ticks all the boxes, non?! 😊
There are tons of Easter egg decoration ideas and DIYs on Pinterest . But to be honest, some of them are just too involved, or not child-friendly or require blowing out eggs (who has time or patience for that?!). So I just came up with the pretties and EASIEST Easter egg decorating technique , using a medium you already have at home - nail polish! ! :)
This year, I'm not doing a huge Easter table like I usually do. Instead, I'm slowing down and focusing more on simplicity, on recycling and up-cycling what I already have on hand to create my décor. My daughter has been obsessed with slime for a couple of years now. She's forever watching YouTube videos about making slime at home, buying slime whenever she sees it in the shops, and basically just driving me crazy talking about slime. Can you relate, mamas? 😋 I've always been anti-slime myself. I mean, anything sticky that may cling to your carpet, hair and floors and that involves "wasting" household ingredients like washing-up liquid or flour...didn't spark joy for me.
